Consume fruits, vegetables, whole grains and beans, they are rich with complex carbohydrates, vitamins, fiber and minerals which are fat less and really important – low in cholesterol. These foods should provide the majority of the daily requirement of calories, and the rest of the caloric consumption should come primarily from low-fat products, lean meat and birds, and of course – fish.

When you are following these healthy tips, it doesn’t mean you should be missing out all of your favorite and not so healthy foods. While your diet consists generally of lowfat foods and includes complex carbohydrates, it could easily eat a favorite chocolate or a hamburger.

A healthy diet as well gives you the opportunity to try new and novel foods. Try and turn in your diet, some healthy foods such as vegetables, fruits or grains that you’ve not tried before, or weren’t a part of your daily menu.
